This is the first post to my new blog all about the FIRST Robotics Competition. I'll cover things from the rules Q&A, Bill's Blog, Chief Delphi, and all other sources for FRC information. I'll also cover the districts, regionals, and the World Championships in Atlanta. The goal here is to give one mentor's thoughts on what's going on in our little world known as the FIRST Robotics Competition.
Eventually, the goal is to grow this site across the country, having correspondents from all over the country writing about what's going on in their area. For the time being, I will attempt to keep a "global" view, but most of the posts will be admittedly midwest-centric. If you're interested in becomming a contributer to The FIRST Report, shoot me an e-mail with a sample post and we'll see how it goes.
